Orange Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In damp forests, In rainforests, and In bogs.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely rigid; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
