Blueleaf

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This big shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 63 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has numerous sturdy, straight stems covered in very thick, waxy, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of large, stiff, pointed, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are either blue or caramel, with red splotches, hardy and smooth.

In late summer it produces several medium-sized, red flowers with oblong shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a weak scent that smells like marzipan.

The sap causes itchiness of the skin
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
