Blue Bindweed

This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 99 feet (30.2 meters).

It takes 7 months for the peach or blue stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The finger-like, fuzzy leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are grey on the sides and intense blue at the center, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces lots of small white flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of very large seed pods.
