Bloodgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This average-sized, lime grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and tough.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, blood red spikelet.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
