Bloodfire

This short cactus grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall. The fan-like stem is yellow, and is covered in dozens of rigid blood red spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid caramel petals decorated with red lines and a beige central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 curved petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like sugar.

The cactus's skin is very thick, the violet flesh is rough, and the dark purple sap is thin.
