Bronzeberry

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This colossal caudiciform grows up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is moss green, and is covered in brittle beige spines. The wonky, hazel trunk can grow to as much as 22 feet (6.7 meters) in diameter at the top. Its florescent blue branches are short, rigid and upright and start growing a quarter of the way up the stem.

The thick bunches of serrated-edged, spear shaped leaves are generally bronze. They are tough, but do not detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 21 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are lime on the edges and peach at the center grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a sphere with 30 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has a weak scent that smells like vomit.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the drab orange flesh is rough, and the red sap is thin.

It is extremely resistant to fire damage.
