Azure Succulent

This big leaf succulent grows up to 99 feet (30.2 meters) tall. The fan-like stem is gray, and is covered in hundreds of fine, dark grey, hair-like spines. The pebble-like leaves are found in azure, florescent purple and sky blue varieties. Copious amounts of them grow on very thick, orange-yellow branches that trail down to the ground. The leaves are resilient, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is very slow growing, taking 7 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are orange on the underside and lime on the top grows at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. It has a weak scent that smells like rotten eggs.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the lime flesh is sticky, and the crimson sap is thin.
