Coppercup

This small flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its burgundy stem is thick, and the miniature, copper leaves are finger-like with toothed edges. 14 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Around 50 large flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with bold red petals that gradient shift to copper on the outer edge. The central disk is silver. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of several tightly layered, narrow petals. They are sturdy.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like leather, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
