Silvergrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This short, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are durable.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, orange tail.
During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
