Coppervine

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 38 feet (11.6 meters) and growing as high as 497 feet (151.5 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 3 years for the orange stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The thick, waxy leaves reach up to 11 inches (28 cm) in length. They are solid copper with dark yellow splotches, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the bine produces dozens of large turquoise flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small fruits.
