Beige Climber

This enormous bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,098 feet (944.3 meters) and growing as high as 497 feet (151.5 meters).

It takes 39 years for the green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.9 feet (58 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The pleated, smooth leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are generally beige, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces hundreds of small caramel flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of tiny fruits.
