Luminara Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 15 feet (4.6 meters) and growing as high as 169 feet (51.5 meters).

It takes 4 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and woody.

The needle-like, soft leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are brown on the sides and azure at the center, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of tiny lilac flowers.

It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It can survive a long time without water.
