Magenta Clinger

Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in small clumps that are resistant.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, magenta flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

It is frequently struck by lightning.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
The bark, wood and leaves are edible.
