Coppergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized, copper grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in small clumps that are strong and tough and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, peach flower.

During the early winter, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.
