Clinging Emerald Vine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its emerald stem is wispy, and the giant, lime green leaves are triangular with toothed edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

5 to 11 large flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 19 cm (7.5 inches) wide, with alternating petals of aquamarine and amber, with a dark grey central disk. The flower head is made up of 60 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight heart. They are sturdy.

It has a powerful scent that smells like apple, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
