Clinging Caramelgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This big, caramel grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The 4 pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are rigid.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, pale purple flower.
During the early autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for making strong rope
