Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This modest-sized, copper grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in large clumps that are strong and tough.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, purple flower.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
