Crimson Moor Moss

This crimson moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In moorlands.
It is massive, growing up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is very flexible.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
