Clinging Silverflower

This average-sized flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its gray-green stems grow in bunches of 6 and are very thin and straight, and the giant, brown leaves are circular with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

1 to 7 tiny flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 18 cm (7.1 inches) wide, with solid silver petals decorated with florescent blue lines and a hazel central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 38 curved petals. They are very delicate.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like bonfire smoke, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
