Silverbell Daisy

Flower type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This big flower grows up to 2.3 feet (69 cm) tall. Its green stem is thick, and the giant, purple leaves are 7 pointed with toothed edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

3 to 6 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 15 cm (5.9 inches) wide, with solid silver petals decorated with florescent blue lines and a hazel central disk. The flower head is made up of 44 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. They are very delicate.

It has a soft scent that smells like vomit, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by a small species of bird.


It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
