Clinging Tuftgrass

This short, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in thin clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, green tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
