Clingspike Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The cylindrical stalks grow in large clumps that are flimsy and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, black spikelet.

The grains are bitter, but very healthy and can be used to make numerous baked goods.
