Crimson Willow

This massive shrub grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 106 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has several flexible, angular stems covered in wrinkled, dark brown bark, and the wood inside is brown.

The branches are short stubs that and are covered with large amounts of huge, wispy, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of pink-red that gradient shifts to hazel at the top, resilient and crispy.

In early summer it produces dozens of tiny, cyan flowers with wide petals. They are hardy and have a faint scent that smells like vomit.
