Magenta Puffgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This small, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in sparse patches that are robust and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, magenta puff.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
