Clinging Peachgrass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized, emerald grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, peach flower.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for making strong rope
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
