Bloodgrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are durable.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, blood red puff.

During the late summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

Ivy often grows along the trunk.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
