Copperwind Grass

This average-sized, red grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thick clumps that are rigid and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, lilac puff.

During the late autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
