Bloodbloom

This large flower grows up to 2.3 feet (69 cm) tall. Its white and hazel stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 4 and are thick and straight, and split into numerous branching stems at the top, and the giant, deep red leaves are wide with rounded edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 58 cm (22.8 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of blood red. The flower head is largely flat with 40 tightly layered round-tipped petals. They are sturdy.

It has a soft scent that smells like misty mornings, and it has very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
