Ambergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The kidney-shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, amber tuft.
During the mid-autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
