Cheeseflower

This large shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 177 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many flexible, curved stems covered in ridged, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright that and are covered with handfuls of giant, very narrow and elongated, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are drab purple and azure, resistant and clammy.

It produces many small, slate flowers with needle-like petals. They are very delicate and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cheese. In late summer it forms giantgreen seed pods.
