Emerald Clump Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainy mountain ranges, In bogs, and In damp forests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is extremely frail; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
