Bronze Tuft Grass

This small, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, bronze tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
