Climbing Coralvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This enormous vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,857 feet (566.0 meters) and growing as high as 854 feet (260.3 meters).

It takes 45 years for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 4.2 feet (1.3 meters) and are soft and flexible.

The 6 pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 1.9 feet (58 cm) in length. They are washed-out red on the sides and aquamarine at the center, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of large dark brown flowers.
