Emerald Clump Moss

This green and lime green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On rotten logs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is very rigid.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.
