Climbing Giant Vine

This colossal vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,931 feet (893.4 meters) and growing as high as 349 feet (106.4 meters).

It takes 16 years for the gray stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3.5 feet (1.1 meters) and are smooth and waxy.

The broad, flat, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 4.0 feet (1.2 meters) in length. They are ashy yellow and aquamarine, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces clusters of average pink flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of large seed pods.
