Emerald Flame Moss

This green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly frail; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores.

It is suitable for making strong rope
The petals are excellent for making pulp fibers
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
