Aquamarine Willow

This average-sized tree grows up to 20 meters (65.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 407 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a flexible, wonky trunk covered in hard, waxy, yellow bark, and inside, the dense wood is brown.

The branches are very short and thin and are covered with very large amounts of smooth, giant, needle-like leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are either cyan, or gentle purple with lime streaks.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, blue berries.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.
