Spiralpine

This massive shrub grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 171 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several sturdy, straight stems covered in smooth, light gray bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of small, slender, pointed, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are gray with lime tips, frail and smooth.

In late spring it produces hundreds of medium-sized, intense orange flowers with finger-like petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a strong scent that smells like rotten egg.
