Twistvine

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 13 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has many wide, twisting stems covered in fine, silky, yellow bark, and the wood inside is brown.

The branches are short and thick with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of small, thin, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are light grey and red, sturdy and flexible and soft.

It produces handfuls of medium-sized, washed-out red flowers with circular petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a faint scent that smells like coffee. In late winter it forms medium-sizedsilver, shelled seeds.
