Golden Tuffgrass

This short, olive grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in extensive patches that are resilient and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, gold tuft.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.
