Copperleaf

This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 50 feet (15.2 meters).

It takes 11 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and woody.

The pleated, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are either crimson, or yellow with copper patches, and have rounded edges.
