Blazegrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized, green grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, black tail.
During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
