Emerald Clump Moss

This green moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps On trees.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly durable; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
