Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This big, slate or black grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, green puff.
During the mid-autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
It is suitable for making paper
The leaves are bland but very healthy.
