Aquamarine Stemflower

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its lime green stem is very thick and straight, and the miniature, brown leaves are thick with jagged edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

3 to 9 large flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with petals that are aquamarine on the edges and cyan at the center. The flower head is made up of 5 petals in raised layers. They detach easily.

It has a powerful scent that smells like rainy days, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
