Spirea Cactus
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized cactus grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 4 wide stems. Each stem is cream, and is dotted with small white spines.
It is very fast growing, taking 10 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with alternating petals of cream and pink, with a brown central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 4 years. The flower head is shaped like a cube made up of 4 raised, round-tipped petals. It has a faint scent that smells like lavender.
The cactus's skin is thin, the aquamarine flesh is waxy, and the cream sap is thin.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
