Silverclimb

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for over 2,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 2618 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, slanted trunk covered in ridged, black bark, and inside, the hard wood is white.

The excessive amount of branches trail down towards the ground, covered with copious amounts of small, silver needles. The needles themselves are light.

In late summer it produces giant, hazel, shelled seeds.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with clear space between them.

It grows well in the sun and full shade.
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
Several parts of the flower have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is bio-luminescent.
