Copperleaf
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This average-sized, copper grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, purple spikelet.
During the late summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
