Sugarbloom

This giant shrub grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall and lives for around 66 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many flexible, crooked stems covered in rough, light gray bark, and the wood inside is dark brown.

The branches are short stubs that and are covered with sparse amounts of tiny, stiff, pointed, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are pink and amber, flexible and smooth.

It produces hundreds of tiny, caramel flowers with 3 pointed petals with a tube-like floral cup. They detach easily and have an intense scent that smells like sugar. In late winter it forms medium-sizedbrown, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
