Crimson Bine

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 13 feet (4.0 meters) and growing as high as 140 feet (42.7 meters).

It takes 3 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and waxy.

The long, tapering, leathery leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are dark grey on the edges and olive at the center, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a handful of average crimson flowers.
